I came across a new way to make ice cream cone cupcakes. Get this, the cupcakes are not baked in the cone. The cones are filled with candy and each cone is topped with a frosted regular and mini cupcake. Check out the link for more details.

Thank you! Those sound more likely to turn out than my horrible, somewhat offensive looking things that I baked in the cone!

Great find. I think icecream cone cupcakes are SO cute, but the cone is always so stale tasting!

You can also try filling them with ice cream and topping with a cupcake upside down and add frosting. The kids love it.
