Will Royal Icing Flowers Soften Against Buttercream?

i'm hoping they will! i thought i read somewhere that buttercream wills often royal icing decorations. thanks for any help

Yes, it will soften it. The fats in the buttercream will break down the royal icing, making it soft again.
