Thank you all. You guys have definitely satisfied my curiosity. I have been baking out of my home for many years, on and off. Had the opportunity to work from a licensed kitchen a few years ago, but it didn't work out with landlord. Haven't done much baking since. I'm not into decorating anymore. Just doing desserts, ie. cookies, brownies, gourmet cakes, and want to try my hand with a mail order business, but don't want to incure those type of costs again until I know for sure it works.
