Will the fondant be ok as it comes to room temp? I use Satin Ice.

Thanks in advance for any tips or advice!

i have never frozen a fondant cake. i've frozen fondant and it worked fine, but not a fondant covered cake. my only worry would be the condensation.

I did this once. I wrapped the cake well in Saran (about 3-4 layers... right on the RF. I let it thaw overnight in the fridge (I have a 'dry' fridge, especially for fondant cakes). Any and all condensation formed on the plastic wrap. I then removed the plastic and proceeded to finish decorating.

I've done it unwrapped as well - just let it thaw on the counter, don't touch it while it thaws and the condensation will disappear eventually.
