Has anyone ever used Bettercreme? I'm having trouble working with Bettercreme, it's melting almost instantly and when I use Wilton gel colors to color it the consistency changes to a thinnner consistency.

Any suggestions on what to use to decorate an ice cream cake?

Oh yesicon_smile.gif
You might not be whipping it enough.
OR if you have hot hands you'll have problems w/it melting in the bag as you work.
It is not good to use when it is over 80 or 85 degrees - it melts.
It can be tinted *only* to the lightest of pastel shades.

Why don't you 'ice' the cake w/Bettercreme and do the decorating w/b'cream. You can mix it 1/2 and 1/2 allowing for more color concentration.
