Need Help With A Wedding Cake This Saturday?

I have a wedding cake and groom cake that need to be deliver on this Sat at 2:00p.m. but I have to go out of town for a gradation. I was wonder if I could icing the cake thursday morning and place it in the box. Will it be ok till sat afternoon.

I personally, would not sell a cake that was already 3 days old.

If it can be refrigerated, in the box, it would probably survive the wait.

As long as nothing is perishable and it's not in too warm of an environment it should be fine.........3 day old cake tastes wonderful as long as it hasn't been cut into. Putting them in the fridge can actually quicken the drying out process.

could i add some syrup onto on the cake before I icing the cakes.
