I was wondering if anyone can send me a picture of a cake they made with poured fondant? [email protected]... I have to do a cake and need to know if it really works well... thank you..

Welcome to Cake Central.

Poured fondant is normally used for petit fours, very small cakes and cookies. It is generally somewhat transparent and doesn't cover well.

I have used poured fondant but only on mini cakes and they had been covered in fondant first. Have a look at my website www.cakeoccasions.co.nz and look for Shana (green) and Laura (Denim blue). Quite easy to make but a bit messy. Cheers.
