I need some help with a fondant rainbow. Fondant is not my favorite thing to work with. In fact I have only used it once. I am trying to make a rainbow that will connect two cakes together. I don't need anything fancy, but I do need to write Welcome Baby on it.

Can anyone help me? I need to deliver this cake in the morning. And I know that I should have started earlier, but I have been slammed with orders and forgot all about the rainbow.

TIA for all your help!!!

Well by now it's probably too late to help you.
It needed to be done at least by last night so it dried enough to stand up.
What did you end up doing?

I have to deliver the cake tomorrow morning. I thought it would be dry in 24 hours. Am I wrong?

Do you have any gumpaste? That dries faster.

You could always use some candy melts... That will definitely dry in time.

Oh I didn't realize the time difference and I thought you said you needed to deliver *this* a.m. icon_smile.gif
Yes, it will dry overnight if you use fondant - especially if you add some Tylose.
The choco suggestion is a great one.
Let us know how you make out.
