Hey Ya'll!
Currently I am a supermarket cake decorator. I would like to get into more intricate work. I would like to know if anyone knows of a sugar/gumpaste class (teacher) in the Metro Atlanta, Ga area. Any help would be appreciated.

You live near one of the best, Nicholas Lodge. His school is the Internations School of Sugar Arts. Look at Nicholaslodge.com

His work is great, his instructions are clear, and he is very nice.

Can I come live with you? icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

Thank you for the info JoAnn. I found his website shortly after I posted this morning. I am going to check into a class he offers. If you ever visit Georgia maybe you could take one of his classes and make sure to eat at Paula Deen's restaraunt!
Thanks again,
Lucy

I lived in Savannah for 3 years, I wasn't too impressed with Paula's restaurant, but there were a few others that ranked up there.

The Casbah was excellent if you like Moroccan food and The King & I if you like Thai. As for Southern food go down to Crescent Georgia to The Pelican Cafe down there. THat is REAL good southern seafood/food.
