Me too please. I hadn't thought about getting one until today. I pretty much all of my cakes and maybe I'd get a more even finish with spraying it on. I'd need some convincing that you could get precision with an airbrush though. So looking forward to seeing any posted pictures too!

there is a decorator named Janet, I can't remember which site I've seen here on, but she is awesome with the airbrush, does anyone know her?....she does a lot of shaped cakes with flags and stuff on them....I'm gonna see if I can find her site.

Emma you are so talented...I could only imagine what kinds of stuff you would come up with....if you got an airbrush

I have only recently been given an airbrush and I already love it. It is great for dark colors. I am not very proficient yet so I have not done any fine detail work yet, but for applying rich color it is great. Here are some links...

So far the only cake I've used my airbrush on is this one. The books were airbrushed. Not too creative, but I enjoyed doing it nonetheless. I'm hoping to use it more on some cakes this summer.

Click on 'Spotlight' right on top and look for Kiddiekakes. She uses a lot of airbrushing.

I go more for the kind of airbrushing Thanh Thanh here on CC uses. Her cakes sparked my interest in getting an airbrush. Look her up. Her cakes are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! They are the reason an airbrush is on my list of things to get!

I do a lot of sheet cakes and use the airbrush on almost all of them. I like it for backgrounds and for shading the picture in so it looks 3-dimensional.

Here's my first airbrush cake. I was just playing with it because if you think about it, why would a beehive be up in the air!
But I just don't use mine as often as I should.
