Hmmm...I could drop the kids off with my family in Oklahoma, and then be on my way. I usually try to make two trips a year back to Oklahoma, so I could plan on making one of the trips then.

In case you haven't checked your maps, Grapevine is part of the greater Dallas area, great shopping and lots of things to do! Janice
Oh boy i love Grapevine...... Love the mall there and my husband loves the Bass Pro shop. Count me in.
It is at Grapevine Texas, July 20 -23 2006 (from Ladycakes site!)

I will deffinately be there. I've been wanting to go this year, but I just don't know how I'll work it out... plus I don't really want to go to New Orleans by myself!
Melody,
I will be dropping my kids off in Spencerville, Oklahoma..but the closest small town is Hugo. It is in southeastern Oklahoma, near Paris, Texas. Grapevine is just a couple hours away from there.
