What brand/length knife do you use to carve your cakes? Thanks in advance for your reply.
Depends on what I'm carving. Sometimes a long serrated knife, sometimes short straight edge for small areas. No special brand, just kitchen knife.

Just make sure they are sharp. You can find blade sharpening tools in any store that sells houseware. If your knife is sharp, it really doesn't matter if it's a top brand or not, it will do the job for cake.
I happen to use the serrated Cutco knives...not reason, I had these knives before I got interested in cake decorating. I would think any serrated knife would work.
