What brand/length knife do you use to carve your cakes? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Depends on what I'm carving. Sometimes a long serrated knife, sometimes short straight edge for small areas. No special brand, just kitchen knife. icon_smile.gif

Just make sure they are sharp. You can find blade sharpening tools in any store that sells houseware. If your knife is sharp, it really doesn't matter if it's a top brand or not, it will do the job for cake.

I happen to use the serrated Cutco knives...not reason, I had these knives before I got interested in cake decorating. I would think any serrated knife would work.
