I am making this cake by Monday.

(sorry couldnt figure out how to attach it!)

I know sheet cake, and I'm using the pampered chef bowls that you can bake in that make sorta circles. I have the flower cutter for the fondant lei but that still looks a little scary since she actually has a string through hers. Maybe I can use a cupcake for the nose?
Any tips would really help! For my boyfriends boss.... has to come out good!

Did she tell you she has a string thru the lei? I don't see any signs of it. Look at the yellow flower in the far left where it meets the sheet cake. There is no hole in it which one would need if it was laced on string.
Forget the string - just lay the flowers on. Lightly brush the back of each flower w/water so it sticks to the one behind it.
Yes you could use a cupcake OR if the pig is not that big use a marshmallow.

Hi, In my opinion go with pink, unless you can do a super realistic pig ( god knows I couldn't) I'd stick with a more "cartoony" pink, plus realistic may freak some people out. I would abandon the string also if you cant eat it its just going to cause problems. I think you will do an amazing job. Good Luck.
