Anderson Wedding 2013
Vintage/Hollywood glam cake. I used glam cake ribbon for that ten inch tier and added fresh roses that she also incorporated into her centerpieces/bouquets. Pearls from a former, fondant is Satin Ice. Petals were used using a large single rose cutter - cut the petal in half to reduce the amount of fondant on the cake. Upside down method with SMBC to get "sharper" edges before the fondant application. Definitely utilized flower spikes as well.

Hunting Cake
Gumpaste deer, deer blind, fondant trees, chocolate rocks. Used buttercream tutorial on here and the grass tip to break up the monotony of the camo. Layered ABC over SMBC. Cake is an 11x18 and 12x15 stacked using the SPS system with an MDF board underneath the cardboard for extra support

Rv Cake
I sometimes help out with education and development at my job. To reward the students with a job well done, I decided to make them a red velvet layer cake with a cream cheese layer. It ended up not fitting in my normal cake carrier.. so I had to freeze it and wrap it in plastic, then carry it down three flights of stairs!

My Very First Sugarpaste Rose Wedding Cake
This cake was so crooked.. the ribbon wrapping was terrible, I also ran out of flowers and had to fill in with calla lillies. However, I am the proudest of the topper which is a ronben inspired piece. If I had to do it all over again, I would give myself more time to make and dry the roses. Since then, I've learned so much about gumpaste flowers, and ribbon wrapping, etc. (Cake made October 2009)

First Ever Grooms Cake (Oct 2009)
Made this cake with my first ever Wedding Cake. Groom is a Marine Corps. We had to travel 3 hours in roughly 85 degree weather. The wedding cake was perfect, but the fondant on this cake slid off entirely! I ended up having to re-knead the fondant and freezing the cake before I could assemble it again!
