Here are my first baby booties up close. They aren't perfect, but I was excited about how they turned out. I used the template in the gallery. It was a great help!
Tiered yellow cake with BC filling covered in MMF. Buttons and baby booties are MMF as well. This was my first pair of baby booties. They were pretty fun to do.
This was my first tiered cake without fondant. The outside and filling are BC. But the BC cracked-- I worked with it and worked with it and it almost drove me nuts. Any ideas on what caused it would be appreciated. Thanks!
A friend asked me to make this for her daughter's preschool spring party. It is my first egg-free cake (what a nightmare to work with!---maybe I need a new recipe). Covered in Satin Ice. BC border. Egg-free cakes are so different to work with!
I made this for an Easter Egg Hunt at a friends house. I did not have an oval pan, so it is a carved cake--- a little lopsided. But it's BC covered in MMF. All decorations are MMF, except for the centers of the flowers. Those are yellow BC.
I dmade these to take to my son's class for his 3rd birthday. I got the idea from Nick Jr.com. His favorite book is Chica, Chica, Boom, Boom, so he gets really excited about the alphabet. The letters are white chocolate with sugar sprinkles. Eyes are marshmallows and M&M's
This is the top of my first baby shower cake. It is filled with BC and covered in fondant. All of the decorations are fondant, except for the gift tag. It is made of gumpaste.
