Autumn Colored Floral Birthday Cake
All done in buttercream except for dark chocolate molded leaves. Cake is made with Splenda since client is diabetic. The white icing had a "texture" to it because of the Splenda (I even put the splenda in the blender to make it more like confectioners sugar.) If anyone has a great smooth/crusting buttercream recipe that is diabetic friendly, I would welcome it! :)

Happy Birthday
Made for a mom who's daughter was turning 21. They wanted and "old fashioned" two layer 9 inch cake with a bunch of pastel flowers and happy birthday inscription. Everything is done in BC except callas (done in fondant). Luster dusted the callas and roses. If anyone knows of some really awesome flower techniques, Im all ears! :)

Floral Cake
I made this cake as a thank you to my landlady. She helped me out with some German/English language barriers while Im stationed over here. ha She has a wonderful garden and I attempted a begonia as the main flower with quick drop flowers. All done in BC. If anyone knows of a *good* tutorial on begonias and roses for BC, please please please let me know. Ive been practicing and just cant seem to get it right. :)
