Gumpaste pikake and pakalana. As I made each pikake flower I pushed a toothpick through it to make a hole so I could string the lei of GP flowers.

These are vanilla cupcakes with a brownie "burger". The "French fries" are NFSC. Really fun and simple. It took longer to print and cut the paper containers and French fry bag!!
The beef jerky is chocolate fondant that, after dried, I painted with red then black airbrush color. The cake is WASC that is multi colors, iced with SMBC and fondant. This is the birthday girl's favorite snack!
Steak cake is red velvet WASC so when it was cut into it was a rare to medium-rare look! The bone and the knife are gum paste. Since the chocolate fondant was applied without icing to the cake, only strawberry preserves, the icing is the mashed potatoes that was served with each slice.

Everything is edible except for the internal structure. The reels on top of the camera are RKT. The camera is chocolate cake with ganache coating, covered with fondant with GP and fondant accents. The clapboard is GP. Movie reel is GP with vanilla cake. Edible images on fondant for the film. Lastly, the reel cases are vanilla cake covered with fondant! It was fun to make!

This cake was for our 25th anniversary. I wanted to try two different ways to make gumpaste peony. And paint directly on the fondant. So why not "try" on our own cake!! I loved the peony. Both of them. The bottom one has each petal individually wired. The upper one's petals are attached to a center on one wire. I loved both! Thank you for looking!
