Truffle Surprise!
This is the inside of the Daisy Cake Box in my gallery. My sister-in-law said all she wanted for her birthday was my Lemonade Cake Truffles. But what about the guests? (She didn't want to share the truffles!) So I made these to go inside the cake box (sitting above the cake on the lower level of the box).

Jack The Lego King!
For my son Jack's (a/k/a The Lego King) 6th birthday. Each brick had a different flavor inside ... chocolate chocolate, chocolate with vanilla cream and yellow with vanilla pudding and mini choc chips. The Minifigures, the small Bricks, the dots on the large Bricks and Jack's name were all solid chocolate. The large cake Bricks were covered with modeling chocolate (or chocolate clay).

The Second Pisacake!
Stefanie (my niece): "Jack (my son), since you're having your cake on MY birthday, I'm having the second pisacake." Jack: "I'm not having a pizza cake." Stefanie: "No, Jack. I'm having the second pisacake." Jack: "I'M NOT HAVING A PIZZA CAKE STEFANIE!!!" Well, I just couldn't resist, so I had to make a pizza cake for Stefanie :) And the work was worth the big smile on her face when I gave it to her. (Fondant crust, red frosting, white chocolate "mozzarella", chocolate "pepperoni" and "olives".)

Baby John's First Birthday
Made for my nephew's 1st birthday. He's in LOVE with Mickey. White cake with vanilla pudding and chocolate chip filling, covered in white chocolate ganache and MMF. The matching smash cake was white with smoothed out chocolate frosting coated in melted black frosting with black chocolate modeling clay ears. And the cake topper was MMF. TFL :)

Who? Who?
Thanks so much to Ambrene and eatCakes for the inspiration! My Mom LOVES owls, so I knew I had to create this cake for her one day. She just had a very special birthday and this represents me and she in a nest. The cake is triple layer chocolate cake with cherry and chocolate mousse filling, covered in chocolate ganache and chocolate shavings for the nest effect. The owls are chocolate cakes with marshmallow fluff filling. The feathers are white fondant and chocolate clay.

Happy 60Th Birthday Augie!
I owe this piece to a fellow CCer - Allris! Thank you so much for the inspiration. I chose your masterpiece as a favorite sometime ago because I knew it would be perfect for my very Italian MIL's very Italian significant other. Mine doesn't compare, but I am pretty happy with how it came out as it was my very first barrel cake and a significant step up to my previous mostly "Wilton" style work. Thank you Allris! It's a four layer white cake with vanilla pudding and cannoli cream fillings. The barrel and grapes are fondant. The grape leaves and oval sign are gumpaste. The bottle is RKTs covered in chocolate clay, then wrapped in fondant. The grape vines and rings around the barrel are Tootsie Roll. And thank you to all the CCers out there who constantly and unselfishly share their wealth of knowledge and advice!

My First Cake Balls
My Mom was feeling jealous about all the cakes I've been making for other people, so I made these for her during her last visit. The plain are just chocolate. The ones with sprinkles are chocolate w/ coconut. And the white drizzle are chocolate with cherries. Yummy!!! Thank you Bakerella and my fellow CCers for the ideas and the help :)

Birthday Balloons
This cake was more impressive in person. However, I do regret not decorating the cake board, as I feel it was too plain. Clouds would have been nice. Also, I've realized since joining CC that I made the mistake of refrigerating my fondant covered cakes - thus the uneven shine. AND it was my LAST TIME using Wilton's yucky fondant, now that I've discovered MMF! Thank you CCers, you are THE BEST!!!!!
