Pink Ballerina Cake
Fondant covered 3 tier cake, made for a friends daughters party. Everything on this cake is edible except the bling ribbon, and th ribbon flowing from the ballet slippers. I bought the tutorial for the slippers off of Peggy Does Cakes on FB. If you have done shoes before, it's all pretty similar, but having the template is nice..perfect size. If you have not done shoes before it is worth paying the $5 for as she is very detailed with pictures of each step.

Tinkerbelle Inspired
New technique I learned from cakes decor, only I changed the original design of the bottom tier to have a two tone look. The bottom tier is time consuming but worth the outcome, pictures just don't do it justice. Hand cut and drawn face, top tier is buttercream, and decorated in fondant. I ran out of time...wanted to do the flowers differently.

Carousel Cake
Mother provided the My Little Ponies for the cake. 12 inch, 10 inch, and 8 inch vanilla cake with whipped icing filling, covered in fondant. Rainbow and fondant are made with the candy melts added to MMF. The swags and bows were suppose to be on the tier with the RI lace. But they fell off, so I had to addjust. Nothing was working right on this cake. Only things not edible are the cake plates and the ponies.

Sunset
My daughter turned 15 and asked for the colors of the sunset in this icing tecnique she loves. I iced this cake on my lunch break, and it had to travel 2 hours away for the weekend party. Bottom was a blueberry cake with lemon fluff filling, top was a chocolate cake with fresh cherry buttercream.

Simply Elegant
This was for a bride that sent me a picture of her friends wedding cake and wanted that. I thought I could make it look better-so I did-more elegant I think. She didn't care if it was round or square-ride was very o.k . with letting me choose. So I did 16in square 12in round 8in round covered in mmf, white cake and vanilla buttercream. Black is chocopan fondant-like working with that stuff! Had to hnd paint over every "stamp" they wouldn't show up on the cake-time consuming! But worth it I think!

Magical Princesses
3 tier castle and pillow cake to match both with edible gum paste tiaras with edible gems. All decor of castle is edible-except princesses provided by little girls mother(they were part of her present). First castle, first pillow-completly excited. Edible glitter hearts made up the 3 on the castle. Not sure if I'll ever make anoter tiara-wow!

Square Cake
16in white, 12in chocolate, 8in red velvet, covered in fondant, hand piped black, fresh flowers the bride provided- I was really tired when I piped the design on, that I was a little shaky. Told the bride-who was a friend, that I could go over it again, to make it look flowing and she said no it was fine. Tired cause I also catered the wedding and had 2 other cakes to do, and it's just little 'ole me-as a hobby!
