This was designed to match the room theme and bedding my sister registered for at Pottery Barn.
12" round, inside has 4 layers with varying shades of pink.
Birthday girls favorite things are smiley faces and yellow.
Made using a 14" square pan and using a template to carve it out to the size I needed. My niece loved it so much she didn't want to cut it.
This was actually a lot simpler than I had imagined. The birthday girl loved it!
For a Birthday Fiesta! Lettuce is apple licorice, cheese is orange Starbursts, meat is tootsie rolls, and tomatoes are red licorice. Taco shell was made out of fondant.
My first guitar, it matched the birthday boys real guitar in color and size.
My nephew wanted a cake of just Saphira's eye, it's from a book series he is reading. This was a fun one to do!
12" round almond cake, buttercream filling/frosting, fondant covered and accents, animal crackers and brown sugar used for sand.
Idea came from the many Bible cakes here on CC. Cover made from chocolate buttercream. Thanks for looking!
I got this idea from Betty Crocker and changed it a little according to what I had. It was for my niece's 2nd birthday, she loves farm animals. I used red sugar, instead of red frosting.
My first NY Cake. Can't see in the picture, but the jersey has "34" because it was for my husbands 34th birthday and our last name written above the number. Buttercream frosting, fondant decorations.
This was my first attempt at a purse cake. A coach bag for my Sister-in-law's birthday. Ran out of time to do C's, so maybe next time.
For my daughter's first birthday. Had a bit of a bad buttercream day, but I got it done :)
Chocolate and Vanilla cake with whipped frosting.
Buttercream icing, fish and fence are fondant.
My first Fondant cake. My nephew just wanted a sword for Percy Jackson, so this is what I came up with.
