Blake's Afl Football Cake
This cake was made for my son's 8th birthday. The base is a chocolate cake layed with chocolate ganache, covered in buttercream. The Aussie rules football was hand carved from an 8inch square white chocolate mud cake, covered in fondant and handmade logos. Loved making this one....

Noel's Torana Cake
This cake is a replica of the Torana car that a dear friend owns and loves, made for his 60th birthday. The base is a dense chocolate 'sheet' cake filled with dark chocolate ganache and surrounded by a chocolate fence. The Torana is a white chocolate mud cake, hand carved from an 8" square and covered with fondant accents to match those on his own car. Thanks for looking.

Thomas The Tank Engine
A 3D Thomas cake for my nephew Christopher. Originally a 12" square marble cake which I ganached together and then carved out to the shape of Thomas. This was certainly a bigger challenge than I anticipated, but overall I am happy with how it turned out. Thank you to CC'ers for the inspiration and Bluehue for answering my many questions along the way...TFL.

Lucas' Baptism
This cake was for a family friend's son. 11 and 9 inch chocolate cake with dulce de leche filling. All fondant accents and gumpaste booties and blocks. Was not entirely happy with the blocks but my friend loved it, so that's the important thing...Thanks to all at CC for the inspiration.

Blake's Soccer Cake
My first go at a ball cake..lining up those shapes was no easy task, but learnt a lot for next time. Chocolate cake on the base and choc/vanilla swirl for the ball. All B/C with fondant ball. I didn't have a ball pan so carved the ball from a round 8inch cake, using the dreaded 'dome' to my advantage..TFL.
