Snowman With Top Hat Cake :)
Snowman cake I did for my sisters birthday. The bottom is butter cream and the top part of the cake is covered in fondant. I just put the cake on an oversized cake board and covered it all in black fondant for the hat. For the "carrot" (fondant) nose I put cuts into it with a knife then painted it brown with food coloring and then went back with water and got the brown off but it left the cuts brown. Everyone was saying they thought it was a real carrot! LOL

Football Helmet Cake For My Cousin
This is the sixth cake my niece and I did after the college classes we took. My cousin asked me to do a football helmet and I said there was no way I could do it. About 2 days before the party, I figured I could do it and molded a face mask out of gumpaste (with one day for it to dry....what was I thinking??) Well, everything went well until I went to put the face mask on and it crumbled. My husband saved me by taking a coat hanger and making it look like a face mask and I covered it in fondant. Only wish I could have put the white yard lines on the cake but I didn't have time because of the face mask problem. The symbol on the helmet is his symbol for his little team and the jersey is his number. Thanks for looking!
