Cape Spear, Newfoundland, Lighthouse
100% edible creation. this was done for a woman turning 65. she was from Newfoundland. Tried to make the lighthouse at Cape Spear, NFLD. All decs (lighthouse, gulls, puffin, life rings, little signs, shells) are GP. Found lighthouse template on Google images. Cut 6 panels out of GP, let dry, iced together with royal icing. Then painted spaghetti with black paste colour. Broke into correct sizes and used edible glue (Tylose + water) to glue together one section at a time. Tons of fun to do and my customer was extremely pleased. Hope you like it!!!

Norway Lake Loon
Did this for a friend who is on the Norway Lake executive and wanted to have a cake for their Annual General Meeting. Their lake logo is the loon with bullrushes. Loon base is RKT covered in fondant. Head is 100% GP. Handpainted with edible white powder paint + clear vanilla. Cattails are linguine painted with green gel paste and fondant cattail.

Zelda
Buttercream iced slab with handpainted design. Our local grocery store decided to stop letting customers use their edible image printer so I had to handpaint it. Lucky for me, I can paint. I used my gel icing colours along with clear vanilla to water the gel down. I first painted the background on a piece of gumpaste, then made a cutout of the Link character and painted him. I wanted it to look 3-D so I placed Link on top of the scene. I was happy with the way it turned out.
