The snowflakes were made from isomalt then dusted with glitter. The cake was airbrushed silver. Blue border is fondant. Blue dots are royal icing.

This cake was covered in fondant with fondant buttons and border. Text on the larger button and the threads of some of the buttons is royal icing. A button mold was used to make the fondant buttons.

The Big Band Theory Themed Cake

This is a cake I made for someone who loves The Big Bang Theory. The customer wanted the Soft Kitty head on the cake, along with the text I included. Everything is buttercream except for the letters. Made a buttercream transfer for the kitty head (first time making a transfer).

Cornelli Lace Cake

This is cake is all buttercream.

Bird Wedding Cake

This cake was a nightmare with bulges that about killed me. At one point I had to scrape off all of the icing on both cakes and start over. The border is way too thick, I know, but it covered some of my cake disaster. The topper was provided by the bride, which I think takes away from the cake. The cake is buttercream. The birds and branches are fondant/gum paste.

2011 4Th Of July Cake

The cake is covered in buttercream. The stars are fondant, as is the red and white flag. In order to get the color of blue I used, which matches the flag perfectly, you have to add black to blue.

Chocolate Lovers Cake

This cake is covered in ganache with a buttercream border. The decorations are made from chocolate.

Choo Choo Train

The train was done in buttercream. The tracks are black licorice. I used the Wilton train mold.

Zebra Cake

The cake and stripes are fondant. The stripes sticking out of the cake are a gum paste/fondant combination.
