Alice With 52 Cards
This is a alice in wonderland doll cake that I made based on a variety of inspirations. There are two cakes that measure 4 inches each. The bottom cake is a five inch and the top cake is a four inch. Everything is made of gumpaste or fondant. The cards ( all 52 of them) are handpainted and measure 3/4 of an inch long and a 1/2 inch wide. I handpainted everything, except for the green background, which I airbrushed and then handpainted some grass blades overtop of. The base is a piece of wood.

Winter Cool Colors Mosaic Cake
I wanted to create a cake that looked like it was stained glass or mosaic. I also wanted to decorate it in cool tones to go along with the winter we have been having. This is a six inch by 4 inch WASC cake, iced in vanilla buttercream and decorated with hand painted gumpaste accents.

Golf Ball Cake With Handpainted Golf Course
This is a cake I made for my dad's birthday. It is a 5 inch cake and I think it measured about 6 inches tall. I handpainted the golf course scene and added some gumpaste trees, a flag and hole. It was fun trying to figure out how to paint on the cake, I am so used to oil paints and acrylics that food coloring was a exciting new challenge! The golf ball was RKT covered in gumpaste.
