My first cars cake. Checkerboard pattern cut squares from fondant and placed on the cake in the pattern.

Shoe Box

Shoe Box cake, The shoe a collectable glass shoe. The lid is made from a covered cake board and the sides of the lid are fondant. I cut them very straight and then froze the fondant for a little while so it would stay straight while attaching it to the box. It worked great.
