Bike Race
The bride wanted a cake showing the groom not quite making it over the finish line of a bike race, because he fell. Her crossing the line on a tricycle. The tree stup has their initials "carved" in it. When I delivered it I put a banner over the finish line that read "FINISHED"...... Fun couple, fun cake!

Tiki Hut
This cake was so much fun to make! It was styled after the party invitation. The base is one 10" round covered in BC "sand". Then 3 8" layers covered in BC and striped in fondant. The top of the bar is modeling chocolate and the flowers and drinks made from fondant. The top of the hut was made of rice cereal treats and covered in BC with a modeling chocolate top. I could have worked on this cake for 10 more hours adding different things! I was happy with the finished results though. TFL!!!

Scroll Cake
My very first wedding cake. 100% humidity and satin ribbon aren't freinds!!! Lesson learned. Is there ANYTHING you can do to control that??? Tips or advise would be GREAT! =) Their topper was top heavy, and heavy in general so I didn't even get to see it on the cake, they were going to use it for thier pics only. I made a gumpaste circle to put the topper on so it didn't sink into the buttercream, I bordered it with the same little flowers that were on the cake, and placed an extra gumpaste flower in the circle so it didn't look empty without the topper on.....TFL

St. Louis Cardinals Cap
I made the cap out of half of the Wilton Ball pan and a 6 inch round. The rim what made of gumpaste. I tried using fondant on the last cap I made and it flattened when I put in on the board, despite the 3 days of drying time I gave it! I think next time I may try a half and half......I also tried improving on the shape of the rim for this cap. I took a two litter pop bottle, cut off the top and bottom, cat a slit down the "tube". Then I slid one side to overlap and the other side to be more open and stapled it. The open side went flush to the cake and the "pinched" side was the from. I think it gave me a good shape. I was pleased. TFL!!!
