Ut Volunteer Graduation Cake
Cake made for co-worker's son and his girlfriend, both in the Pride of the Southland band at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. As noted on the cake, he plays the trumpet and she is a majorette. Used color flow for the uniform, buttercream with fondant and candy melt accents. The only thing not edible is the baton stick. It's actually a wooden dowel.

Civil War Wedding
These cakes were for a couple who are civil war re-enactors and they dressed in period costumes for the wedding. They wanted a 3 tiered round with a gray, blue, and gray tier with crossed swords and rifles. The sheet cakes are 11x15 with the confederate flag, and edible images of a couple of their re-enactments. The heart cake was done just so they had something on the romantic side! This was my first wedding and I learned alot, the gray came out much darker than I wanted and it's hard to see the crossed rifles on those tiers. But the couple loved it and the men whose pictures were on the edible images thought it was neat to have their picture on a cake!
