Pink Dogwood Blossom Wedding Cake
3 tier traditional white wedding cake with vanilla buttercream filling covered in fondant using Wilton's tall tier cake stand. The tree branches were piped on with royal icing and the dogwood blossoms are made of gumpaste with the brown inside painted using airbrush coloring and the pink was done with Wilton's pink pearl dust and attached with royal icing. There was 50 blossoms on the cake and everyone thought they were made of glass. I had to eat one to prove they were sugar...lol! It was a beautiful outdoor wedding and the cake held up so well.

Done for a die hard John Wall fan's 16th birthday who wanted to celebrate both his playing time at UK and his new draft to the Washington Wizards. 70Th Birthday/50Th Wedding Anniversary
This customer's family was celebrating his sister's 70th birthday along with her & her husband's 50th Wedding anniversary. The ribbon is fondant, with the lettering hand painted with airbrush coloring. The 50 & 70 were made from gumpaste and brushed with metallic airbrush colors. The gardenias were made from gumpaste. It was my first time making them, but I thought they turned out okay. He said that it was a huge hit with his sister!

Harley Anniversary/birthday Cake
The lady and their husband were celebrating both his birthday and their wedding anniversary. They never had a wedding cake, so she wanted something tiered and nice, but yet still manly enough for his birthday. After talking with her, I discovered that one of their favorite things to do together was ride the Harley motorcycle...light bulb went off! So, we went with the black & orange Harley colors, but added the black & orange roses at the top to soften it up a little bit. They were ecstatic, although I wasn't happy with the way the emblem turned out on the front. All in all, they were satisfied and had a blast at their party.

Lighthouse In The Bay
The lighthouse was made using 6" round layers stacked and doweled, then carved. It was covered in fondant. I used Duff's impression mats to get the stone look and then handpainted the black stripe around the lighthouse with airbrush coloring. Windows & door were also made of fondant. The top of the structure was made with gumpaste and handpainted. The bottom cake was a 6" square, water & flowers were done in buttercream, rocks were made of fondant.

Cowboy Birthday Cake With Cow That Goes "moo!"
Thanks so much to amandamotley for the inspiration on this cake. It was for a 4 y/o that said all he wanted was a cow cake that went "Moo!" So, after much searching, I found an ink pen of all things, that when you pushed it's head down it mooed. I took the pen apart and made a fondant/gumpaste body for it. The little guy was so excited that he clapped and jumped up and down. It was totally worth the effort of searching for something to make it go Moo! :D TFL!
