This was a last minute cake. Everything was done in one day. WHEW! My first attempt at shrek. :) I think I did an OK job. Inspiration came from anne18's shrek cake. Stump is vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream covered in fondant. Bottom cake is also vanilla with chocolate buttercream covered in fondant. TFL

Black & White Purse

My 2nd purse cake. Still learning as I go :) Chocolate cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling. Covered in fondant. "Lipstick" also fondant. TFL

My first pig and airbrushed cake. Pina Colada cake with fondant. Tiki and coconut drink fondant. Logs and flames also fondant. Sand is grahm crackers, pecan pieces and brown sugar. TFL

Cake I made last minute for my dad on father's day. He wanted a steak and potato dinner so I suprised him with this cake :)......Steak is carved cake covered in fondant. Potato is carved cake covered in fondant with yogurt mixture in middle. Piping gel for melted butter effect. Aspargus is fondant. Thanks to tomswife for inspiration!!!!! TFL

Memorial Day Cake

thanks to fellow CCers for inspiration. Memorial Day cake I made for our local police dept. every cake i make is a new learning curve :) Cake is chocolate with chocolate whipped cream covered in fondant. Stars are also fondant. Hands are carved cake covered in fondant. TFL

Hubby Working On Car

Cake I made for hubby on his birthday. He loves to work in his shop on his 69 VW beetle bug. Car is made out of rice krispies and covered in fondant. Man and all tools are fondant. He got a big kick out of it when he saw it.

Tidmouth Shed W/ Thomas & Percy

Son wanted a tidmouth shed cake with his favorite trains thomas and percy. 2 9in cakes cut in half, filled with cream cheese frosting and stacked make up the shed. Covered in fondant. Thomas and Percy are all fondant. I am new to cake decorating only made 6-8 cakes and still learning. On this cake i learned to use wax paper on the cake board or you will end up with a wet carboard look ! LOL!!!!! Enjoy and TFL!

Dinosaur Cake

Dinosaur cake made for my 2yr. Wanted it to look like the dino ate a piece of cake while leaving cake crumbs all over. Chocolate cake w/ cream cheese filling. Dino made of fondant. My son was so excited to see his dino cake! TFL
