Superman Cake
This cake is pretty self explanatory standard construction, I used a disposable 9 X 13 pan and cut the logo shape out. I used chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for the black, there is a strawberry jam filling. The yellow and gold icing is Vanilla. and the mini Superman is made of fondant.

Mickey Mouse Club House
This is The Mickey Mouse Club House Cake. I did it for my friend's baby's first birthday party. It's a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and fondant. The yellow shoe is 2 or 3 servings of cake, and the red base are 2 8" rounds carved half round. The mickey head is a ball of aluminum foil supported by 2 dowels and all wrapped in fondant.

Xbox 360/the Halo Cake
I made this for my friend Jim who really likes Halo. It was for his 23rd Birthday. He is heavily into gaming, and so this was a winner. Although much to my annoyance we had to sneak it in and it got smudged a little. But when I held the controller it looked eerily real. Master Chief's helmet is just luster dust(painted on with the vodka method) in the appropriate colors, the molded fondant underneath was a gunmetal gray color. I did a lot of molding tool work to get little details on the helmet. I had his girlfriend forward me a picture of his favorite helmet and blow up the size in paint.

Luau Cake
I made this for my 23rd Birthday party, my sister threw me a Luau. I of course, demanded to make my own cake. The "sand" is Nilla wafers ground up. The "seaweed" is fruit roll ups cut to shape. The lounge chair and the trees are candy melts and pretzels. The only thing not edible on the cake is the gems in the treasure chest, I didn't have the resources to do the poured sugar gems.

Connor's First Ever Cake
This cake was made for my friend Heather's baby shower. The theme was boy and duckies. The "bubbles" are made out of cotton candy and all the detail work is made out of gumpaste. The only unfortunate part was the cake batter was a new recipe and it came out awful, I had just moved and my cake books were still packed. But luckily everyone fell to far in love with how it looked to hold it against me.

Wedding Cake, Lilac Colors
This is the wedding cake for my fiance's sister. The roses were going to be out of gumpaste, but I had to travel with everything since the wedding was 2 states away. I didn't have time to make them in advance and it was too humid they kept falling apart, so I ended up having to use real roses. The whole cake is powdered with luster dust for a romantic appeal. I am proud to say she absolutely loved it.
