An older barbie cake pan that had no insert, so a friend of mine laminated a picture of barbie and I used it with the pan. Worked out fine

I made this cake in my wilton course 3 class. This is the first time I covered a cake in fondant. Love the way it turned out.
This is my first cake using a shaped pan. I know now that I should use a smaller tip for the stars AND make them closer together. Turned out pretty OK though and I think the little boy I made it for will love it.
I'm new at cake decorating and this is the first time I use fondant. I like the way the bow turned out. The filling is pineapple and cream and the icing is buttercream.

This was the final cake for my Wilton Course 2 class. Cake is iced with Chocolate B.C. and the flowers are royal icing. The bird and butterflies are made using color flow. This was my first attempt at basketweave and I'm happy it's not as difficult as it seems :)

This was my final cake for Wilton Course 1. This was my first trial doing roses, so I think it turned out pretty well.
I loved this cake a lot. All butter cream icing. The lake is made with piping gel and the tree trunks are rice krispy straws. The animals were from the dollar store and I used the star tip to make the grass since I didn't have the grass tip yet.
