11x15 french vanilla with pineapple buttercream filling. Ground up sugar cookies for sand. Was short on time, cheated with decorations on top - used beach themed scrapbooking stickers! Just the touch if you're in a pinch! :)

Bad Day At Golf

tried to "fake" a whipped icing by using DH whipped mixed with cool whip, shine on front of cake is reflection from board paper - it's NOT thin icing - lol. Recepient had a golf game very similar to this display so him and his family LOVED it!! fondant accents, pretzle trees with bc, piping gel for water. lolly pop stick for flag pole

Orange & Black Motorcycle And Snoopy

b-day cake for good friend. She is a huge snoopy fan and guess I should mention that we are all bikers too!! Wanted to do a lot more bike detail with this cake but couldn't get the timing right as we were trying to take this with us for a biker event/camping weekend. 10/8/6 tiers - my first 3 tier! BC with fondant accents. Snoopy topper was a fondant gumpaste mix - made in a hurry so the dog house isn't quite square. Then "painted" with spray can color - not a big fan of the look - probably won't try that again :)

Barrel Of Flowers

first try at a barrel cake.....learned a lot on this one :) 2 - 8" rounds x 3" high, butter cake with french vanilla instant pudding added, covered in bc and fondant accents. The roses are made from a combo of homemade fondant with a bit of store bought gumpaste. The b-day girl LOVED it!! My try this again for mother's day.
