Under The Sea theme. 1st Birthday cake.
I wanted to try a cherry blossom cake, because I love the simplicity of the look. Here's my first attempt. Covered in fondant, flowers gum paste, and vines royal Icing. Thanks for looking. Any suggestions on how to improve are seriously always welcome by me.
(Quick note: I added tinkerbell in the third picture below.) Still practicing....but having fun. Here's a Tinkerbell cake I just did for a two year old's party. All fondant with gumpaste flowers. Strawberry cake with white chocolate icing. Had a lot of inspiration from a few of you on here. Thanks!
Our friend graduated from the fire department and I made him this cake. It was fun. I have never done a 3D cake. Probably my last time too!
I finally did my first wedding cake. Colors were pink and navy blue. Not a favorite combination, but it worked out okay I think. I had a great time learning how to do the gumpaste roses. Any suggestions would be more than welcome on how to improve!!

2nd event for practice. I thought it turned out okay, but wasn't happy about the cake falling. Having a tough time with the fondant and getting the cake to be uniform and smooth looking. Any suggestions!
