This was my first time covering with fondant! (what a way to start...4 cakes!!) The figurines are not edible but everything else was edible. The top tier was removed and became the baby's smash cake.

White fondant decorated with stiff white royal icing. Started with tip #2 but didn't like the look so I settled upon tip #7 for a much thicker looking outline.
