Camo Birthday Cake
My first try making buttercream camoflage. It was time consuming but I feel it was worth it. I used the hints and tips I found on this valuable site by using the high density roller to smooth it out and since I don't have access to edible images I took the tip of printing out a picture on paper, backing it with aluminum foil and then using icing to cover the edges. His birthday is tomorrow and I'm hoping he likes it!

2011 New Year's Cake
New Year's Eve cake for my family. This is my first try with a buttercream transfer and it was a great experience! The only thing I'd change about the transfer itself is I'd use the mirror image I printed out instead of the one that wasn't! And, if I'd known the buttercream transfer was going to look that good I'd have taken more time making sure my cake was straight!

Ava's Cake
My first try, and for public eyes! I made the cake for my great-niece's baptism. Everyone thought it was cute, which made me proud. I covered the cake with butter cream then marshmallow fondant. The Royal Icing flowers were my first try at them, as were the booties on top. Plain I know, but it was so much fun I'll have to try others (fancier)! Thanks for looking!
