The King!
The King, from the movie Cars. I made this for my son's second birthday, and he was thrilled! The cake is free-hand carved and iced in buttercream with fondant accents. I made the spoiler/wing too small, but was just too exhausted to remake it, and afraid the gumpaste wouldn't have time to dry... Good enough!

Nativity
This cake wasn't executed as well as I would have liked, but I had issues with my cream cheese icing tearing up my cake, and I was just plain worn out! Overall, I'm happy with it though... Cake is a single 10" round cut in half, stacked and stood in it's side. Red velvet cake with (too thick) cream cheese icing.

Queen Suzie
My first 4-tier cake - all of it, including the "torpedo tier" as I call it is stacked with SPS. Made for a dear friend of mine who changes tiaras, wigs and feather boas to suit her mood, so it had to be really FANCY! The double-tier in the middle adds drama, and you can see the cake matched the bead decorations that she has strewn on all the tables! Chocolate cake with classic buttercream (top 6" round and bottom 10" square tier) Pink champagne with white chocolate truffle (middle double 8" tiers)

Lily's Fancy Cake
Cake for a little girl's "Fancy Nancy" themed birthday party. I got the idea for the cake from Tonedna's Colette Peters inspired cake (I've never seen the original). 8" and 6" Strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream filling. Buttercream finish with fondant and gumpaste decorations.
