Stained Glass Kitty
This is one of my most favorite cakes! It is a 14 inch dummy covered in fondant then I did an image transfer with piping gel off of a pattern that I had made. I piped the outlines with a #2 tip and royal icing and then filled in with tinted piping gel that I painted with a small brush. In total it took me about 4 hours to paint but I didn't mind. =)

Blue Cake
My cake for the Great American Cake Show 2009. 6-8-10-12 inch styrofoam dummies covered in rolled fondant. Piping was done in royal icing with a #2 tip. The topper is my first attempt at a gumpaste flower other than a rose, I called it a fantasy flower not a lilly because it only had 5 petals instead of 6. Behind the flower there is a tiny mouse taking a nap. Thanks for looking.

February Wedding Cake
This cake is done in all buttercream. I started with another design in my head so I iced the whole thing in white then I changed my mind so I airbrushed the whole cake pink, then a little yellow then more pink. I used a tip #3 for the piping and real ribbon around the cakes. The cake topper was a piece that had broken off of another topper and I just spruced it up with some curling ribbon.

Jim's Cake
This is one of my all time favorite cakes. The guy I made it for has a scooter and everyone makes fun of him for it. (Except for me because I have one too!) I looked up the model of his scooter and printed it out and did an image transfer then filled it in with piping gel to get that shiny look.
