Deer Hunter Birthday Cake
Had a birthday party at a bar on opening deer hunting weekend in a rural area. Came up with this cake for my sister's birthday...it was quite a hit. My husband helped make the deer stand and ladder from materials we found at Michaels. I hid a light in the deer stand and also on top of the stand so it lit up in the dim bar. WASC, Chocolate & Red Velvet cakes. All buttercream icing.

Gotham City / Batman
Made for my son's 5th birthday party. Gotham city was made with fondant mixed with gum-tex, cut out, then hardened for 3 days. The black was Satin Ice which hardened up quickly like gumpaste but the gray buildings were MMF which in four days still where not nearly as stiff. The cakes were WASC with buttercream, yellow with chocolate buttercream, and chocolate with chocolate buttercream.

Daisy Anniversary Cake
Cake made for my good friends Anniversary celebration. The top and bottom are made from the WASC recipe with raspberry mouse filling. The middle is a chocolate fudge with white chocolate almond buttercream filling and icing. Both are covered with a marshmellow fondant and fondant cutout daisies.

Art Palette
This is a birthday cake made for my daughter's 7th birthday party. We brought it to a location where the kids painted pottery for the party. The palette is a carved WASC cake covered with fondant (starting with the oval cake pan). The base is just a square chocolate cake also covered in fondant. The paint tubes are fondant and the paint bruses are gumpaste.

Baby Shower
This cake was for a baby shower, it was a real hit. The tiers are 9" and 6" white cake (enhanced with pudding) and strawberry mousse filling. I did have lots of fun making this cake and got lots of oohs and aahs! Many thanks go to bjfranco for her idea and all of the assistance she gave me in creating the flowers and vines on the cake.

50Th Birthday Leopard Print
This is a cake I made for my neighbor's jungle themed 50th birthday party. The leopard spots are painted directly on the buttercream. The zebra print band is with MMF. Many thanks go to Sugarflowers who gave me this idea...my version is nowhere near as good as her award winning cake!

R2D2
This is my attempt at R2D2 for my son's 3rd birthday. It is three 6" layers with the ball pan half as the head iced in BC. The arms are rice krispy treats wrapped in fondant. The blue "lines" on the body are WAY to big but they were already glued on so I had to modify the bottom design. All color details on the body are fondant. I got many ideas from R2D2 photos in the galleries, thank you!
