I made this cake for my daughter's 4th birthday carnival party. Each layer is a different flavor. It is iced in buttercream frosting. My favorite part is that the top layer was baked in an antique metal jello mold pan. It helped to give dimension and character to the cake.
This cake is my version of Neverland. I made it for my son's 1st birthday party. It is spice cake with cream cheese buttercream frosting. The cake toppers were purchased as a play set. The banner and the Jolly Roger ship were printed onto cardstock and placed on the cake. It was fun to create and made the party extra special as I don't want him to ever grow up!
This cake was made for a monkey themed baby shower. It is iced with Frosting Pride whipped icing. This cake pan is actually a baby bear that I made into a monkey by cutting off the ears at the top and attached them on the side of the head. I also manipulated the face into a monkey.
