My daughter turned 30 today! I HAD to make her favorite cake. The cake is strawberry, filled with bavarian cream and strawberry filling, iced in SMBC. The decorations are all made of white candy clay. The base of the cake was surrounded by strawberries dipped in white chocolate.
This is a cake I made for one of my free cakes for kids clients. Her little one turned 1, and adores faeries and flowers. She is allergic to chocolate, so the top tier was banana, the lower layer chocolate for mom.

Veggie tales made of modeling chocolate for my grandsons cake. My first figures ever... what an adventure! The holes on some of them are where we placed their gumpaste light sabers so they could fit in with the star wars theme.

Cake is wasc 5 layers, strawberry and chocolate alternately. Strawberry layers filled with whipped chocolate ganache, chocolate layers filled with strawberry filling. Covered in MMF, all decorations made of MMF and gum paste.
Chocolate wasc covered with MMF. Collar and pocket and tie made of MMF. My 6 and 8 yead old grandsons "helped" by kneading color into the MMF and decorating the tie with candy stars.
Chocolate cake made using wasc recipe covered in MMF for a friends daughter. Accents are all MMF with luster dust and nu silver used for highlights. He had asked that the guitar neck be short and it look more like a childs drawing. The only nonedible pieces were the toothpicks holding the tuning knobs on. She ate the banner that said happy birthday before she even cut the cake!
Bottom of tank is a 9 x 13 dark chocolate cake, turret is a 9" round white chocolate cake. Tracks are made of MMF, both layers covered in rolled buttercream, hatch cover and other accessories made of rolled fondant. Gun is a fondant wrapped dowel.
