I modeled the little girl to look just like the real birthday girl and also recreated her actual nightgown and bedding. The little girl Olivia Jane was so excited about her cake, she made her mama show it to her over and over again before the party and said, "Look Mama, "Miss Toria" (my name is Victoria) even made me some slippers!

I made the little shoes, purse and belt out of fondant - the glass was plastic filled with tinted gelatin to look like the Cosmoplitans that were on their party invitations. The "birthday girl" loved the cake!

Elegant Wedding Cake

This cake sat on top of a piano with the Charlotte skyline behind it. There were glass vases of varying heights behind it filled with water and later after dark when the reception took place, floating candles were lit. I am sure it was beautiful at night too. The parents of the bride were very pleased with this cake.
