Princess Tiana Birthday Cake
This cake was for my daughter's 4th birthday and I had to make a special cake... a Princess Tiana cake. This cake was small... only 6", but packed with goodness.... moist chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream filling and frosting. Tiana, my birthday girl's name and "4" were all made of MMF.

Monkey 1St Birthday
The #1 cake was 5" wide by 8.5" tall, chocolate with chocolate filling and vanilla buttercream icing... all soy. The 5" smash cake was chocolate as well. All accents were made of fondant and all edible. I loved the vines and how the monkey's tail wrapped around the top. And the monkeys were just so cute! I also liked how the name turned out. For most of my cakes I use rolled fondant to make the letters, this time I used flat fondant.

Abby Cadabby Birthday!
Such a fun cake! There were two layers of vanilla butter goodness with strawberry filling. One 10" and one 8" both covered in vanilla buttercream with fondant accents. Magical stars and colorful flowers wrapped around the cake. I hate how washed out the colors look in the photo. They were more vibrant in real life. I loved the Abby. Her hair was a mess. It took a while to do strand by strand, but worth it!

The hands and apple were both MMF and hand-painted (my first attempt at that!). I really liked how it truned out and the birthday girl loved it!

I made 3.5 dozen cupcakes in a variety of flavors... vanilla with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with vanilla buttercream and lemon with lemon buttercream. The 5" topper cake was cookies and cream cake with cookies and cream filling. The "football" was made of rice krispies and covered with chocolate MMF. All of the accents were MMF. I so fell in love with the baby boy (aine2 inspired). Too cute. Also made of MMF.

Mini Fondant Shoes- Cupcake Toppers
These 6 six shoes will be cupcake toppers for red velvet cupcakes. The birthday girl's favorite color is purple and she loves shoes. Each one is slightly larger than a quarter. They were fun to make! They were made from MMF. Some were painted with water (to look patened leather) and some with luster dust.

The Princess & The Frog
I really loved making this cake and had lots of fun. 10" and 8" white butter cake with strawberry filling. Both 3 layers. All accents are MMF. Everything was molded by hand, even the letters of the name. The water lillies were made using the daisy cutters. All of the MMF was covered in luster dust except the frogs. For the scroll design and the water lillies I copied the partyware artwork. The frogs were supposed to be looking at each other, lovingly. TFL!

German Chocolate Cake
8" 3 layer german chocolate cake. Coconut pecan filling. Covered in whipped chocolate buttercream, chocolate sauce (chocolate almond bark, semisweet chocolate and hot whipping cream- not real ganache, so I am saying "sauce") and topped with coconut pecan filling. Chocolate transfer "25" (made with chocolate flavored almond bark) drizzled with melted semi sweet chocolate. My first german chocolate cake! Design borrowed from Sweet Pea bakery.

Pink & Brown Butterfly Birthday
8" chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing. The butterfly and dots were chocolate transfer. The #10 plaque is FBCT. The darker chocolate is Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate icing (yum!). The roses are rolled buttercream (had no MMF on hand). The idea was borrowed from tamivo's hat box cake. I loved her borders and could not wait to try it. Smoothed using melvira's method and hot spatula.

Not much design, but BOY does this taste delic! 8" Chocolate chip cookie cake with eggless cookie dough filling. (I posted the recipe for the filling) Topped with melted chocolate, mini chocolate chips, a dollop of icing and a cookie. The cookie was made from the same dough as the cake, both were super soft and super tasty.
