Chillin' With The Kids

The settee was lemon sponge with organge butter cream iced in fondant. The armchair was chocolate cake with coffee butter cream also iced in fondant. Fondant figures etc. A joint effort by myself and a friend for a mutual friend's 40th.

I made this for my MILs birthday. When the lid was lifted off, there were a tray full of hand crafted chocolates - all edible apart from the ribbon. I used over 1kg of Cadbury chocolate for this cake :)

Dora Waterfall Cake

I made this for my daughter's second birthday. Unfortunately she loved it so much that she'd wrecked Dora and Boots before I was able to photograph it - their original counterparts were a lot more "lifelike" haha. She was over the moon with it though so I guess that's the important thing :)

I made this cake for my local Slimming World Christmas party. It went down well although someone did claim it had too much brandy in it - I say that's an oxymoron and as such null and void :P
