Quilled Flowers And Hello Kitty Birthday
I made this cake for my mom for her birthday. She loves Hello Kitty so my sister made Hello Kitty out of fondant as a topper for the cake. The design was modeled after a quilled cake that I saw online. The cake is iced in buttercream and the quilling and rope are fondant. :)

Baby Bear
I got this idea from the 2008 Wilton yearbook. The quilt is fondant and I used the Wilton fondant tool to make the seams in the quilt. The bear is covered in chocolate buttercream and his bib is fondant. The lady I made this cake for jokingly calls her baby "Spatula" because she's keeping his real name a secret until he is born, hence the spatula on the bib. She likes the way "Spatula" sounds with her last name. :-)

Chocolate Heart
I made this cake for my mom's birthday last year. She and I both love the coconut pecan filling and I was just going to use it to fill the cake, but then my wonderful sister came up with this great idea. It was so much fun! The cake is chocolate with chocolate icing and, of course, coconut pecan filling as decoration. Needless to say, it tasted delicious!

Christmas Mouse
I found this idea on CC and I just loved it. I made a whole plate of these for my Christmas party at work. They were a huge hit. The base is an oreo cookie dipped in white chocolate. Mouse body is a chocolate dipped maraschino cherry, head is Hershey kiss, almond sliver ears, and buttercream accents.

Star Trek: The Next Generation Enterprise
My mom and I teamed up on this cake for my birthday. I LOVE Star Trek: TNG. I cut the Enterprise out of gray Wilton fondant and painted it using thinned icing coloring. I cut the words Star Trek out of blue fondant and my mom wrote the words "The Next Generation" because I wanted it done neatly and I couldn't write very neatly with icing back then. =) The cake is covered in buttercream and sprayed with black Wilton color mist.
