1/2 sheet cake decorated in BC ...not sure what overall effect I was going for, but my friend said her cousin wanted a Bratz theme birthday cake (sorry, can't see details too well)
Got the idea for this cake from one of the Wilton's course books(I think it was course 1). I have yet to perfect the roses...not sure of what I'm not doin right, but I'll get there...hopefully my partner will too(we didn't finish our decorating class).
This cake was created for a children's football team for homecoming. The team's colors matched the Cowboys...Unfortunately, there was a last minute cancellation and the school committee didn't take the cake - I was really hurt over this one. A lot of effort put into this one.
This cake was for my friend's boyfriend. He didn't have a specific theme or color in mind, so since he has a fall birthday, I decided to use fall colors-he said he liked it, but then again, I think he was too drunk to really notice, LOL
This is for a long time friend of mine. She said her favorite color is blue, so I decided to add a little more color to the cake. The cake flavors were chocolate and vanilla(had checkerboard pattern when cut). Pretty and tasty!
This was made with the Wilton's Elmo Face cake pan - boy what a chore, but it was fun and I was happy with the results. I wish I had a better angle but my friend took the picture. This was for a little girl who loved Elmo.
This was the second Barbie cake that I have made(I made one for my daughter's 2nd birthday). This was for 8yr old twins and pink is their favorite color. I found out later that Barbies body sunk a lil into the cake, but everyone liked it all the same.
This is for my son's best friend. He's a Detroit Pistons fan and wanted a cake designed like the team's jersey. The cake was chocolate, the cake was decorated all with buttercream. Everyone loved it!
