Apple Pie Wedding Cake
Bride came to me with only one idea in mind for her cake. She knew she wanted the topper to be an apple pie with a cinnamon stick bride and groom - So I designed this cake using the apple pie theme with apples, cinnamon sticks and apple blossoms. My first time draping fondant. Used Satin Ice (LOVE THAT STUFF! TASTES AMAZING!) Used plexiglass as a cake board and stuffed real apples underneath to add a little extra!

A Leo's Lion
This was for a woman's 60th birthday. She thought her daughter was getting her a sheet cake with a lion's head on it! Base is rough iced buttercream to look like dirt, lion is covered in Satin Ice. Lion's head made from Rice Crispy Treats. Flowers and grass made from fondant. Can't really tell from the picture how big he was, but his head was the size of a bowling ball! The birthday girl said, "Thats the cake?? I can't eat that - it's too nice!" I never get tired of hearing that! LOL! TYVMFL!

Mad Hatter Tea Party
This was for my daughters 13th birthday! She wanted a MadHatter Tea Party! Everything is covered in Satin Ice. The tea cups are not cake - My MIL bought a porcelain tea set to 'help' me out. So I had to use it.. =) This was the first 'topsy turvy' cake that I've made and I think it came out pretty well! No one could believe that it was the cake. I love that reaction! Thank you for looking!

Diamond Suede
Cake for a sweet sixteen birthday. She wanted lots of 'diamonds'. The cake actually has rhinestones on the sides and placed in the scroll work. The lady provided all the rhinestones and 'diamonds' she wanted on the cake and I had to work everything in. I think it came out pretty well. She loved it. (I just hate putting non-edibles on a cake) But she said it was just to be the centerpiece and she probably wouldn't serve it. (Not eat cake?!?!)
