My mom in law wanted a cake... purple and pansies were her input and this is what I came up with. Four layer lemonade cake with cream cheese vanilla buttercream. Purple pansies and chocolate fudge waferettes, Pansies are made of fondant with handpainted accents.
Made for a friend's Birthday. :) The head, legs and tail are rice krispie treats... The rest is cake. :) Fondant figure, fire, etc. :)

Made for a friend graduating from a Christian College, with a Worship Arts degree. Made a half sheet cake, half chocolate and half vanilla (used a parchment paper dam to separate while baking. Used each of those for one of the books. Made the cap with a doll pan, just used the top half, used cardboard covered in fondant for the top of the cap. Covered in MMF.
Tripe tier birthday cake for a friend's 3 year old daughter. Vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling, bottom two layers covered in vanilla BC top layer is chocolate BC- covered and deco'ed in MMF. This was my first real "tier" cake! :) 12" 9" 6"
Chocolate cake with peppermint filling, covered in chocolate BC, MMF over all. Carved from an 11x15 pan. Made the base with foam board and wooden "legs" from the local hardware store. Painted them black to match. "Lid" is melted chocolate, colored black with a layer of fondant covering the top. Pastillage used to make a "stand" to hold the "lod" Pastillage also used to make the foot peddle.
Strawberry Shortcake cake made for Birthday party. Vanilla cake filled with strawberry cream cheese filling, covered in vanilla butter cream and fondant. Candle topper. Petits fours are vanilla cake covered in butter cream with poured fondant icing on top, pink design colored poured fondant.

Did this for a retirement party (obviously)LOL! She was an auditor. Vanilla sour cream cake, covered in butter cream and MMF. All hand painted. The screen is foam board covered in MMF. (it was a nightmare!) but I finally got it! OYE!
Made this cake for a little superman fan that was turning five. :) Triple chocolate cake, covered in chocolate butter cream, covered in MMF. Bottom is 2 8" rounds, phone booth is 2 4"x4" squares. Design inspired by a cake I saw on here (sorry I can't remember who) Made the superman figure from fondant with gum-tex added.
Made this for my daughter's 10th Birthday. :) She helped with it, which was really fun. We drew up a design and went for it! Had a great time, and everyone loved it! :) It was lots of fun! Chocolate triple layer on the bottom, and white double layer on the top. Butter cream for the filling and covered in butter cream, as well as MMF.
Did this today for a baby shower tomorrow. It is a surprise. :) It is two 9x13's one their sides, carved into shape. I used coffee stir straws in a criss cross on both ends to "secure" the two pieces together. Vanilla cake with a cookies and cream butter cream filling, covered in butter cream and then covered in fondant. Shoes, paci, and baby toy made with fondant as well.

Top 6" round layer is strawberry cake with a strawberry glaze (notice the lean...not a good cake to use for "building") Covered in fondant. Towers are cookies glued together with royal icing, tops are rice krispie treats. It was for a friend's girls' Birthday party, one sister was turning one (Cinderella carriage is her smash cake) the other was turning six. :)

Pirate theme wedding. These cakes were GIANT! The lookouts were their anniversary cakes :) Covered in MMF. Flags were done in gumpaste--but they were not too lucky during transport. (had to improvise with construction paper for a couple..
