Time To Travel
This was for my husband's graduation and becoming an RN. We have talked a lot about where we will travel when we have the time and money, so that is what it represents. It is a two layer chocolate sheet cake, covered in fondant, airbrushed with hand painted accents. The globe is a styrofoam ball covered in fondant with fondant accents. The figure is hand molded fondant.

Santa Belt Cake
This was for a charity auction. I had a gift box that I bought for decoration that I was trying to replicate. Thought it turned out pretty cute, minus the imperfections in the fondant on the belt. It's chocolate cake, chocolate icing, covered in MMF, airbrushed, with fondant accents.

Baseball Cake
My 9 yr old son designed this cake. Having done this for about 6 years now, he knows how to tell me exactly what he wants, down to placement of the bat and mitt. This is a 12 in square cake, covered in buttercream grass, and graham cracker "sand", with fondant bases, and powdered sugar baselines. The figure is made out of fondant as well, with a few handpainted accents.

Wolverine Cake
This is for my 7 yr old son. He requested a Wolverine cake, to look like the movie, not the cartoon. Fondant covered choc cake, airbrushed. Fist is molded out of RKT, covered in fondant and airbrushed. I typically don't like to use inedibles on the cake, but didn't have much time, so found these silver plastic knives, cut them in half and put them in the hand. My son loved it.

Scooby Doo
This was for my son's 8th birthday. He happened to be watching a Scooby movie when I asked him what kind of cake he wanted this year. There was a picture on the screen with Scooby in a gift box, so he said "I want that". Kids are funny! Its a 4 layer, stacked chocolate cake, with chocolate filling, covered in fondant. The Scooby is made out of RKT and covered in fondant with handpainted accents.

Kung Fu Panda
This was a birhday cake for my son. He requested that a specific scene from the movie be depicted. If only I had thought to use dry ice for the fog! Oh well, he liked it! The bridge is MMF, attached to floral wire. The rocks are cake covered in MMF and airbrushed. I don't like to use figurines, but he wanted them on the cake!

Gram Tent
This was a cake made for my mom who the grandkids refer to as "Gram". They all gave personal messages which were written on the side of the cake saying what their favorite thing to do with Gram is. One of the favorite things is depicted in the topper which is a "Gram tent" which she makes out of blankets. All of the grandkids and Gram are represented, molded out of MMF. Cake covered in MMF, with MMF "blankets".
